For the Government, the structural transformation of agriculture involves technological innovation and professionalization of actors. “It is time to move from subsistence agriculture to productive and competitive agriculture,” emphasized a MINADER official present at the ceremony.

The two DGs announced the rapid implementation of pilot projects in several agro-ecological zones of the country. These will test technological packages combining improved seeds, technical itineraries, and mechanized equipment on a small and medium scale.
With this agreement, IRAD and CENEEMA lay the foundations for an unprecedented scientific and technical alliance. A synergy expected to become a major lever for the modernization of Cameroonian agriculture.
