
Two new investment agreements, representing 10.88 billion FCFA, have been signed between the Investment Promotion Agency (API) and companies. These projects are expected to generate 200 jobs, while two amendments concluded with two hotel complexes further strengthen the investment momentum in the agro-industry, manufacturing, and tourism sectors.
The Investment Promotion Agency (API) has taken a new step in its strategy to attract private capital with the signing of two investment agreements and two amendments on July 16, 2026. Presided over in the presence of the honorable Albert Kouinche, the ceremony reflects the public authorities’ commitment to consolidating a favorable environment for investors.

The agreements concluded with Avoplus and the African Manufacturing and Fabrication Company (SAFMA) mobilize an investment volume of 10,882,108,753 FCFA. Beyond the financial contribution, these projects should enable the creation of 200 jobs, thus contributing to the development of the national industrial fabric and improving employment opportunities.

The two amendments signed with NOFIK Hotels and Africa Development Industry concern respectively the revaluation of an investment project and the relocation of a site. Adjustments that reflect the continuation of projects within a framework adapted to economic requirements.
Through these various signings, the API confirms its role as an investment facilitator and focuses on high value-added projects to support growth, accelerate industrialization, and strengthen Cameroon’s economic attractiveness.
