Seized in summary proceedings, the Yaoundé Court of First Instance orders the Ministry of Finance to hand over to Jean Calvin Aba’a Oyono the documents relating to the payment of his academic services.

The Yaoundé Court of First Instance ruled on March 11, 2026, in favor of Jean Calvin Aba’a Oyono in a dispute against the Ministry of Finance (MINFI). Meeting in a public summary hearing on February 20, 2026, under the presidency of Judge Koué Kaokamla, the court declared the applicant’s request admissible and well-founded.
In its order No. 13/REF/2026/TA-YDE, the jurisdiction orders the MINFI to make available to the applicant all supporting documents related to the payment of his academic services for the period 2000-2021.
This decision aims to shed light on more than two decades of academic collaboration whose financial traces are currently contested. The court also decided that the costs will be borne by the Public Treasury.
