Until Friday, August 21, 2026. The Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze, has granted a 5-day extension for the Family Allowances Audit operation AALFA. Objective: to allow latecomers to register before the final deadline. After this date, no further extension will be granted.
Last call for beneficiaries. The MINFI is giving a reprieve to public agents who have not yet regularized their situation.
In a press release signed on August 14, 2026, Louis Paul Motaze announces the extension of the second and final phase of data collection for the special Family Allowances Audit operation, AALFA.
Originally scheduled to end on Friday, August 14, 2026, the operation now continues until Friday, August 21, 2026 inclusive. That is 5 additional days granted by the Minister.

This decision comes after the Ministry observed that a significant number of beneficiaries have still not registered, despite information and awareness campaigns conducted.
To facilitate the process, new registration points have been opened. Agents can now present themselves at MINDEF (DIRCIA and SED), DGSN, MINEDUB, and MINESEC, in addition to the sites already communicated.
The Minister therefore invites “all beneficiaries who have not yet registered to seize this last opportunity” to complete the formalities, equipped with all the required documents.
However, be aware: the door closes definitively on August 21. “It is specified that no new extension will be granted beyond Wednesday, August 19, 2026,” warns the release.

Direct consequence: upon expiration of the deadline, children for whom birth certificates have not been collected will be considered fictitious in the continuation of operations.
With this measure, MINFI wants to properly close AALFA and clean up the family allowances beneficiaries file. Louis Paul Motaze counts on “the sense of responsibility, diligence, and collaboration of all.”
