In his capacity as self-proclaimed president elected following the presidential election of October 12, 2026, Issa Tchiroma Bakary sent a message to the youth of his country on February 11. The national president of the FSNC says he is aware of the problems facing young people, particularly “fatigue, anger, arrests, arbitrary detentions”. He particularly denounces the “arbitrary detention” of more than “2,500” people following post-election tensions, the death in detention of young Justin Hara, as well as the blocking of youth, the locking of positions, and the rejection of merit which condemn the country to stagnation.

Faced with this situation, the politician wants to offer keys for a generational transition. He intends to take actions ensuring “real access to responsibilities” through “clear rules”, “transparency”, “support for projects that create jobs”; giving “priority to entrepreneurship, digital technology, modern agriculture, and vocational training”. He announces the establishment of a framework guaranteeing the organization, expression, and enhancement of young people. His remarks tend to distinguish themselves from others made the day before February 11 to reassure young people about the solutions envisaged to solve their problems. Solutions which, often announced in the past, have not been followed by concrete actions.

Everything seems mysterious, like the miracle he announced three weeks ago, the realization of which is still awaited by both his supporters and observers.
