The beauty queen elected in July 2025 no longer enjoys, as of February 25, 2026, the status of Miss Cameroon. The first runner-up, Orphée Dinangue will act as interim.

The termination of the contractual relationship between the Miss Cameroon Organizing Committee and Ms. Josiane Harangada Golanga is official. Comica has just made public the final decision pronounced against Miss Cameroon. As of this Wednesday, Josiane Harangada loses her title, her crown, all rights, privileges, and advantages attached to this title, for reasons listed by the committee in a press release dated February 25, 2026.
