
From September 14 to 18, 2026 in Yaoundé, IRAD is organizing its 2026 Thematic School on “Infrared Spectroscopy Applied to Soil Sciences”. About twenty researchers and engineers from Cameroon and Gabon trained for sustainable soil management.
This is a strategic skills upgrade for agronomic research. Under the theme “Infrared Spectroscopy Applied to Soil Sciences,” the Agricultural Research Institute for Development (IRAD) is holding the 2026 edition of its Thematic School from September 14 to 18, 2026 in Yaoundé.

This training, of great interest for the knowledge and sustainable management of soils, brings together about twenty researchers and engineers from IRAD, IITA, and the State Universities of Cameroon and Gabon.
Led by top experts, the workshop offers theoretical and practical teaching to acquire and strengthen knowledge in the field of infrared spectroscopy applied to the study and characterization of soils.
