Faced with floods, landslides and droughts affecting municipalities, FEICOM is intensifying its climate offensive. Its instrument, the Climate Window, intended to finance local adaptation infrastructures and ecosystem protection, is launching its second call for projects.

The first call enabled 56 fundings to be granted to Decentralized Territorial Collectivities. The new one aims to amplify the momentum around four priority sectors: forests and biodiversity, energy mix, waste management and recovery, and water-sanitation infrastructures.

The call is addressed to municipalities, groups of municipalities and urban communities carrying resilient projects. Innovation: CTDs exposed to the same risks can pool their efforts through intercommunal or interregional projects, for a coherent territorial response to climate change.
