The Minister of Secondary Education, Pauline Nalova Lyonga, has just indicated the payment methods for the required contributions and official exam fees for the 2026/2027 school year.
Parents, guardians, and students can pay the required contributions as well as the registration fees for exam and competition candidates for the 2026/2027 school year starting August 24, 2026. Payments can be made online by following a procedure centered on the student’s registration number. This is contained in a communication from the minister dated August 24, which presents the essential guidelines.

According to the key points listed to be respected this year, obtaining the registration number on the cartescolaire.cm platform or from the schools is the preliminary step. For the registration numbers of students in sixth grade, Form One, and first year, they must be generated on the platform by their respective schools. Furthermore, heads of public and private schools are required to conduct their end-of-school-year 2025/2026 class council on the cartescolaire.cm platform.
In his communication, the minister also indicates the procedure to follow for students transferred from one school to another. They must ensure that their registration number is in the new school before making any payment.

Also, unlike other payments made with the unique registration number, the entrance exam fees for sixth grade, the Normal Schools for General Education Teachers, and the Normal Schools for Technical Education Teachers must be paid using the school code on the cartescolaire.cm platform.
The platform created to centralize the national file of schools and students also secures transactions and avoids inconveniences often caused by dishonest officials. To relieve the school bursaries, electronic payments are made through operators Campost, Express Union, MTN Cameroon, and Afriland First Bank. The opening of payment operations on August 24 marks the effective entry into the final stretch leading to the end of the holidays and the start of the school year according to the 2026-2027 school year calendar published some time ago.
