
Cameroon takes part in the 70th regular session of the IAEA General Conference held from September 14 to 18, 2026 in Vienna. The delegation is led by the Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, Dr. Madeleine TCHUINTE, who is to present Cameroon’s statement on September 15.
Cameroonian scientific diplomacy honored in Austria. The Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, Dr. Madeleine TCHUINTE, leads the Cameroonian delegation to the 70th regular session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), from September 14 to 18, 2026 in Vienna.
The delegation took part in the opening session on Monday, September 14, 2026. Minister MINRESI will speak on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 to present Cameroon’s statement before thousands of representatives of member countries.
The delegation is composed of high-ranking personalities: Victor NDOCKI, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Cameroon to the IAEA in the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. SIMO Augustin, Director General of the Radiological Safety and Nuclear Security Authority (ASRAN), Prof. LUMA Henry NAMME, Director General of the Douala General Hospital, Mrs. BABILA BOBMIA Blandine, representative of the Ministry of External Relations, and Dr. ELE ABIAMA Patrice, National Coordinator of the AFRA Program on the promotion of nuclear technologies for development in Africa.
This participation aims to strengthen Cameroon’s cooperation with the IAEA in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
