The National School of Local Administration (NASLA) officially launched, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, the third cohort of its initial training. A new group called to strengthen the skills of future local administration executives in a context of accelerated decentralization.
The National School of Local Administration (NASLA) kicked off the academic year for its third initial training cohort during a ceremony chaired by its Director General, Tanyitiku E. Bayee. The students begin a two-year course designed to prepare future leaders of decentralized local authorities.
In his address, the Director General placed discipline at the heart of the values expected from this new cohort, presenting it as a lever for excellence, success, and professionalism. He also reminded the learners of the imperatives of rigor, attendance, and ethics that must guide their journey within the institution.
Beyond academic training, NASLA thus intends to meet the growing needs for qualified human resources to support the implementation of decentralization. The students are called upon to play a leading role in strengthening local governance and the development of local authorities.
Through this solemn start, the school reaffirms its mission to train competent and responsible executives, capable of providing concrete responses to the challenges of local administration and contributing to the country’s development.
