The event featured demonstrations of technologies used across the group’s various markets worldwide, discussions on the development of digital services for African cities, the signing of a partnership agreement with GUDE-PME, and the graduation ceremony for the first cohort of the Yango Fellowship program in Côte d’Ivoire.

Global Technologies for African Cities
Yango Innovation Day showcased several technologies already deployed in the more than 35 markets where Yango Group operates, including AI-powered route optimization and traffic prediction systems, mapping and navigation tools, autonomous delivery robots, and Yasmina, the company’s AI assistant.
This demonstration highlighted how digital technologies can support mobility, logistics, and urban services, while also providing participants with the opportunity to discuss their potential application in African cities.
The program also brought together business leaders, public policymakers, and technology experts to share their perspectives on the future of urban digital services and innovation across the continent.
Investing in Digital Skills and Future Talent
The event also marked the graduation of the first 20 participants of the Yango Fellowship 2025 program in Côte d’Ivoire. Designed to encourage technological entrepreneurship among young people, this program aims to prepare a new generation of talent for the needs of the country’s rapidly growing digital economy.
Graduates received certificates of achievement, laptops, and financial support to assist with their continued education and professional development.

Yango Group also announced a new initiative aimed at supporting graduates in their professional integration. In collaboration with several leading companies in Côte d’Ivoire, the company will facilitate Fellows’ access to internships and early career opportunities matching their skills and interests.
Supporting Entrepreneurship and Business Growth
As part of the event, Yango Côte d’Ivoire signed a memorandum of understanding with GUDE-PME, the Ivorian public agency dedicated to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
This agreement establishes a framework for cooperation aimed at supporting SMEs operating in the mobility and logistics sectors. The initiative will focus on assisting entrepreneurs in formalizing and developing their activities, improving access to financing, strengthening operational capacities, and expanding their participation in the digital economy.
The program is expected to contribute to the emergence of professional fleet operators and delivery companies, foster job creation, and encourage the adoption of electric vehicles in the transport sector.
Developing Digital Services in Côte d’Ivoire
Yango Group also unveiled its plans for the upcoming launch of a premium Yango Food service. Designed to enrich the customer experience through a carefully curated gastronomic discovery journey, this service will introduce a unique offering to the local market while strengthening Yango Group’s growing ecosystem of digital services.
