Shareholders of the Société immobilière du Cameroun (SIC) will examine a project to increase capital by 151.8 billion FCFA, backed by 11 plots of land covering nearly 407 hectares. If the operation is approved, the share capital would increase from 75 billion to 226.8 billion FCFA.

The Société immobilière du Cameroun (SIC) is taking a new step in strengthening its financial structure. Convened for a mixed General Assembly on July 30 in Yaoundé, shareholders will notably have to decide on a project to increase the share capital based on the in-kind contribution of land allocated by the State.
The operation is based on the valuation of 11 plots distributed in the Centre, Littoral, Adamaoua, North, Far North, and West regions. Their value has been set at 151.821 billion FCFA, an amount that would be added to the current capital of 75 billion FCFA to bring it to approximately 226.8 billion FCFA.
The financial statements as of December 31, 2025, specify that these lands have already been transferred to SIC as a capital contribution by the State. However, they had not yet been valued or recorded in the company’s accounts at the close of the fiscal year. Their valuation is therefore a prerequisite for their accounting in the balance sheet and the realization of the operation.
In addition to this strategic matter, the Ordinary General Assembly will examine the 2025 financial statements, the reports of the board of directors and the auditor, before deciding on the appropriation of profit, the discharge of the directors, and the remuneration of the directors for the 2026 fiscal year. The extraordinary part will also cover the appointment of a contributions auditor and the delegation of powers to the board of directors for the implementation of the operation.
