
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Southern Bird reviewed the situation during the General Assembly on January 31, 2026.
The club Colombe du Dja et Lobo held its ordinary General Assembly on Saturday, January 31, in Sangmélima, in the presence of the members of this body as well as supporter associations. This meeting made it possible to take stock of the club’s administrative, financial, and sporting situation, in a context marked by several institutional difficulties.

Speaking, Dr. Doko Edjiane, Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of Colombe du Dja et Lobo, wished to remove any ambiguity about the club’s position regarding the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot).
“For several years, we have been operating thanks to our elites and our supporters. We have taken action towards the federation, we have submitted requests. Do not believe that we are accomplices of anything. It has come to my attention that the president of Colombe does not want to expose the federation. No! We have done our job.”
Acknowledging the difficulties faced by certain sports institutions, the PCA nevertheless called for patience: “We know that in all organizations, including Fecafoot, there are difficult times. But we continue to wait.”
During his speech, Dr. Doko Edjiane painted a worrying picture of the sums owed to the club, which have still not been paid:

State subsidies not received for four seasons.
Despite these financial constraints, the General Assembly adopted the club’s provisional budget for the 2025–2026 season, set at: 415,819,000 FCFA
A budget that reflects the leaders’ desire to keep the club competitive, while hoping for a rapid regularization of financial arrears.
