Financed and built thanks to revenues from broadcasting rights, commercial partnerships, and grants from FIFA and CAF, the new headquarters of the Cameroonian Football Federation has been operational since May 13, 2026.

The cutting of the burgundy ribbon by the Prime Minister, representing Paul Biya, marks the end of the construction and the realization of a project started 13 years ago in the Warda district of Yaoundé. It was in 2013 that Iya Mohamed, former president of Fecafoot, gave the go-ahead for the construction of the building. His merit was recognized today by Samuel Eto’o Fils, the new master of the place. The president of the Cameroonian football governing body wished to salute the vision of the pioneer, Iya Mohamed: « Iya Mohamed saw far beyond his time. He is the originator of this beautiful dream. He was right. He understood what the history of our football needed: an administration worthy of the performances of the Indomitable Lions. »

It is Jimmie Ricci, general manager of the Italian company PAC international, who presented the technical configuration of the building. The building is constructed on 3,500m² and the total site area is 5,000m². It opens onto three entrances and has five levels. It also includes a 230 m² conference room that can accommodate more than 150 people, about sixty individual offices, meeting rooms, as well as service premises. He mentions an underground parking lot with a capacity of 50 spaces.

The building, whose glass facade faces the Multipurpose Sports Palace, is also equipped with a centralized air conditioning system; a fire safety system, 22 sanitary facilities, and two terraces.

The head of the contracting company assures that the construction complies with accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility, with adapted access and large-opening elevators. He also announces the installation of solar panels to improve energy efficiency.

In his video intervention, Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, declares: « This modern complex marks a new chapter in the great history of Cameroonian football and will provide Fecafoot with the necessary infrastructure to further develop and professionalize football in your magnificent country. It also strengthens Cameroon’s status as a key player in African football.»
