In response to these acts, the MRC also denounces the complicity of the judiciary, which sides with the Rdpc by blocking the MRC’s complaints. The political formation points the finger at magistrates who watch “extremists of power” beat militants, violate the law “without flinching,” “without lifting a finger.” In a communication signed by its first deputy secretary general, Roger Justin Noah, the MRC encourages its militants to remain mobilized.
Beyond this statement on Monday, the MRC and the Ministry of Territorial Administration are in opposition over the extraordinary convention of December 21, 2026, held via videoconference. Minister Paul Atanga Nji refuses to acknowledge the resolutions of the convention on the grounds that the convention was not declared in advance to the administrative authorities. In a letter in response, the party contests the minister’s terms and asks which administrative authority is competent to receive the declaration of a meeting held via videoconference.
Denouncing the violation of the law, the political formation recalls that according to the law, supervision does not intervene in the functioning of political parties. The party also urges the minister to properly apply law no. 90/056 of December 19, 1990. The standoff that has opened could continue until the judiciary decides.
