123 hectares developed out of 100 planned, for 400 million FCFA funded by PIISAH: CENEEMA has fulfilled its commitments on the Ngouang seed farm. A project to produce hybrid maize and soybean seeds and reduce imports.
The National Center for Studies and Experimentation of Agricultural Mechanization (CENEEMA) has just realized a government ambition: to make Ngouang a technological showcase serving producers.
Located in the municipality of Yoko, Mbam-et-Kim department, Central region, the site was visited on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, by the Director General, Andrée Caroline Mebande Bate, accompanied by MINADER, local elites, and traditional authorities.

Led by the company RBH GROUP Sarl and funded by MINADER through the Agro-pastoral and Fisheries Import-Substitution Program (PIISAH), the project saw CENEEMA deploy its entire Yoko Mechanization Pool: bulldozers for clearing, tractors, plows, precision pneumatic seeders, and 2000-liter boom sprayers.

Double objective: to produce hybrid maize and soybean seeds adapted to agro-ecological zones, and to demonstrate the impact of mechanization on yields. The farm is designed as an integrated hub that will bring quality inputs closer to the basins of the Ntui-Yoko-Lena-Tibati-Meiganga corridor.
The works were accepted by the joint technical commission MINADER-MINMAP-CENEEMA. Beyond the infrastructure, the project already generates direct and indirect jobs and stimulates local transport and trade. For CENEEMA, the State’s secular arm in mechanization, this is a key milestone for the food self-sufficiency advocated by SND30.
