
The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Monday that Russian air defense systems had shot down 145 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, including dozens that targeted the Moscow region.

Between 23h (20h GMT) Sunday and 8h (5h GMT) Monday, a total of 53 drones were intercepted over the Moscow region, 46 of which were heading towards the capital, the ministry said. Thirty-eight other drones were shot down over the Bryansk border region.
Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, said that over the past two days, air defense forces had destroyed about 250 Ukrainian drones approaching the city and a second line of defense located in its direction.

Flight restrictions were introduced and lifted several times at several Moscow airports during this period, according to the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency.
