Awarded for the quality of its commitment to standardization in Africa, ANOR stood out at the 32nd General Assembly of ARSO in Mombasa. An Award of Excellence that crowns Cameroon’s leadership in the African market.
Positive outcome for Cameroon in Mombasa. From August 25 to 29, 2026, the Cameroonian delegation took part in the 32nd General Assembly of the African Organization for Standardization (ARSO) in Kenya, focused on standardization, conformity assessment, and the promotion of intra-African trade.

The proceedings highlighted the importance of state leadership in adopting harmonized African standards. With now 2,742 standards, ARSO continues its ambition: “One standard, one test, one certificate accepted everywhere and by all.” Cameroon’s leadership, alongside states that have already launched the ARSO Mark, was praised.
Led by Mr. MBAMBA Alain Michel, representative of the Director General, the delegation composed of Mr. CHESAMI, CT1, Mrs. AFANE ETOUNOU DANIELLE née NDONGO, and Mr. NDEMBIYEMBE YVAN distinguished itself by the quality of its interventions.
