The first whistle of the football championship blew on February 07, 2026.

The Guinness Super League kicked off its season with a first day full of spectacle and determination in stadiums across the country. In Yaoundé, at the annex stadium I of Omnisports, Lekié FC made a strong start by dominating Authentic FC (5-1), immediately showing their ambitions in the competition.
In Douala, on the pitch of annex stadium I of Japoma, CF Cyclone FC proved realistic to win against Vision FC (1-0), while AS Dibamba and Ita Mbong FC neutralized each other with a one-goal draw after a balanced match.
In Garoua, the Cenajes stadium was the scene of a spectacular duel between Agai FC and Amazone FC, which ended in a draw (3-3) after a very committed match.

The competition continues on February 09, 2026, at the Fecafoot Technical Center with two anticipated matches: Éclair Football Fille against Dja Sports at 1 p.m., then FC Ebolowa against Louves Minproff at 3 p.m. These encounters promise to be decisive for the rest of the season.
