Selected from 1,240 candidates, 48 young project leaders are entering the incubation phase of the Mboa Jeunes Créatifs program in Yaoundé and Douala.
This first cohort benefits from support aimed at transforming innovative ideas into viable businesses, as part of the REAJEUNES-DY project, implemented by Cameroun Entreprises Développement (CED) in partnership with the European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD), with the support of the Équipe France Fund.

The Mboa Jeunes Créatifs program is entering a decisive stage with the launch of the incubation of its first cohort. The 48 laureates, selected after a particularly competitive selection process that registered 1,240 applications, will evolve for several months in an environment conducive to the maturation of their initiatives.
The selected projects cover four sectors deemed strategic for economic development and employment: the green economy, digital innovation, the social and solidarity economy, as well as crafts and creative industries. The beneficiaries will follow advanced entrepreneurial training, benefit from personalized support and mentoring from business leaders and experts in their fields.
Beyond strengthening skills, this incubation phase should enable young entrepreneurs to consolidate their economic model, improve the viability of their projects and prepare for fundraising. Ultimately, the ambition is to foster the emergence of sustainable businesses, creating value and jobs, while strengthening the economic empowerment of youth in the cities of Yaoundé and Douala.
