Facing Célestin Tawamba, the head of the business community, raised the recurring grievance of companies: a tax burden considered too heavy weighing on competitiveness.
In response, Roger Meyong Abath sought to reassure. He reaffirmed the DGI’s willingness to consider companies not just as taxpayers, but as “privileged partners.” He announced upcoming reforms to simplify and lighten the system.
