Education in Francophonie: A Cameroonian delegation in Cotonou

The evaluation of the Educational Systems Analysis Program is taking place in the Beninese capital.

Since Monday, February 9, 2026, Cotonou, Benin, has been hosting the fourth meeting of the national teams of the Confemen Educational Systems Analysis Program (PASEC). This meeting, organized by the Conference of Ministers of Basic Education of Francophone States and Governments, brings together a delegation from the Cameroonian Ministry of Basic Education.
The main objective of this meeting is to evaluate the educational results of member countries and to strengthen their educational systems to ensure quality and inclusive education. Participants are working on communication strategies to effectively disseminate evaluation results. National dissemination plans will be developed, and the PASEC 2028 program, with its innovations, will also be presented. This gathering aims to strengthen countries’ capacity to use this data and continuously improve their educational systems.
