The 16th regional conference of heads of anti-corruption agencies of Commonwealth member countries opened on Monday in Yaoundé, the Cameroonian capital, reported CRTV, the state media.

Organized by the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Cameroon (CONAC), in collaboration with the Commonwealth Secretariat, the event is themed “deploying artificial intelligence in the fight against corruption within Commonwealth countries in Africa”.



The sessions bring together more than 200 participants to discuss the use of artificial intelligence in the fight against corruption, with the aim of strengthening collaboration through effective practical solutions.

Until May 8, heads of anti-corruption agencies, experts from national and international organizations, as well as anti-corruption professionals, will exchange strategies to effectively combat this scourge that weakens development.
