
On February 27, 2026, the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council will bring together economic operators and female traders in Abang-Minko’o to review border procedures and promote women’s economic leadership.
On the occasion of the 41st edition of International Women’s Rights Day, the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNCC) is intensifying its commitment to women’s economic empowerment. In a press release signed in Douala on February 17, 2026, its General Manager announced the organization of an awareness seminar in Abang-Minko’o.
Scheduled for Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM, opposite the Customs office, this meeting will focus on the cross-border theme “Women’s Economic Trade.” It aims to provide an overview of the procedures in force at Cameroon’s borders and to strengthen the capacities of women entrepreneurs and traders.
Through this initiative, the CNCC intends to better equip these key players in cross-border trade to support the growth of their activities and consolidate their financial autonomy. Economic operators are invited to contact the local CNCC office for more information.
