The beneficiaries are recruited as part of the second cycle of the Business Plan Competition Program of the Adaptive Social Safety Nets and Economic Inclusion Project.
A total of 1000 young business promoters aged 18 to 35 and based in Yaoundé, Douala, Buea, Bamenda, Maroua, and Garoua will benefit from financial support to strengthen the start-up of their business projects. The government has just launched online registrations for applications for the second cycle of the Business Plan Competition Program of the Adaptive Social Safety Nets and Economic Inclusion Project. The goal is to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged and poorest households and to promote economic inclusion and youth entrepreneurship.
For this second cycle, the companies concerned are those in the start-up phase, existing for one to three years, whether formal or informal. Another criterion is that these companies must show significant growth potential and job creation potential in sectors that are promising and priorities for the government.

The Business Plan Competition Program has a total budget of 5.5 billion CFA francs. Thanks to this budget, the selected companies will benefit from financial support, entrepreneurial training, coaching sessions, as well as post-financing follow-up allowing them to strengthen their competitiveness and sustainability.
Behind this program also lies the government’s desire to promote the creation of sustainable jobs, stimulate innovation, strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises, and contribute to economic growth.
