Archbishop Kleda invites couples with at least 50 years of religious marriage to register to receive a diploma of congratulations.

On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, the Archdiocese of Douala will organize a special celebration, the date of which is yet to be determined, during which Archbishop Samuel Kleda, Archbishop of Douala, will present diplomas of congratulations to couples who have celebrated at least 50 years of religious marriage. This initiative aims to honor and encourage lasting fidelity and love within society. All couples who have reached this milestone in 2026 are invited to register with their parish priest by February 23, 2026, at the latest, to participate in this memorable event.

Founded in 1956, the Archdiocese of Douala is a bastion of the Catholic faith in Cameroon, serving a large population through its numerous parishes and institutions.
