Meeting on August 28, 2026, at the APN headquarters under the presidency of Serge Patrick Essomba, the 37th session of the Approval Committee examined the PAD’s request to update its tariff regime in effect since 2022, without any increase.
The Autonomous Port of Douala revises its tariffs, but without increasing the bill.
The 37th session of the Technical Committee for the Approval of Port Service Tariffs was held on August 28, 2026, at the headquarters of the National Port Authority (APN), under the presidency of Mr. Essomba Serge Patrick, Director of Regulation, Competitiveness, and Port Activities.

At the heart of the work, the project submitted by the Autonomous Port of Douala (PAD). It concerns a comprehensive update of the regime in effect since 2022, through rewriting or adding certain articles, integrating new services, removing obsolete articles, and especially lowering some tariffs.
Key point highlighted in the statement of reasons: all these adjustments will not result in any tariff increase.

At the end of the discussions, the Technical Committee made observations and proposed adjustments before final approval, aiming to strengthen the competitiveness of Cameroon’s leading port while preserving the purchasing power of operators.
