The president of the Patriotic Movement for the Prosperity of the People (MP3) launched his tour in the Far North region on August 13. The former candidate for the 2025 presidential election concludes the journey that once again brought him to the heart of the concerns of the local populations.
Under the leadership of its national president Hiram Samuel Iyodi, MP3 is strengthening its presence in the regions of the Far North, North, and Adamawa. The political party, under the authority of its new national president, is undertaking an operation to reinforce its territorial anchoring in this part of the country. The party president, accompanied by his office, has been touring the North for five days.

On this occasion, the MP3 delegation is carrying out several actions on the ground. Entering through the Far North region on August 13, the delegation traveled through the cities of Maroua, Garoua, and Ngaoundere, from which it departed at the end of the tour. At each major stop, the politician and his close collaborators engaged with the inhabitants to understand the realities faced by the grassroots populations. Hiram Samuel Iyodi led a symbolic reforestation action on the ground, a significant effort in an area where populations are exposed to intense heat.
Exchanges with the populations also help to raise awareness of the party and encourage the recruitment of new members. Another activity aimed at strengthening this territorial presence and proximity to the population is the installation of the party’s departmental leaders. President Hiram thus proceeded with the installation of the party coordinators in the Sahel federations.

The coordinators of Benoué, Mayo-Louti, Mayo-Rey in the North region, those of Diamaré, Mayo-Kani, Mayo-Danay, or Mayo-Sava in the Far North region, and those of Adamawa received the endorsement of the political leader. To these individuals, the president entrusted the mission “to organize, structure, and grow MP3 as close as possible to the populations.”
As the 2027 electoral consultations approach, the MP3 office’s tour takes on the appearance of a pre-campaign. The president and his team are touring an area he visited during the campaign period for the October 2025 presidential election. The aim this time, one year later, is to prepare voters to choose MP3 candidates in the 2027 municipal and legislative elections.
