The Senior Advisor on Defense and International Security Strategy, as he presents himself, announces the upcoming referral of the French courts against Captain Effoudou, Morgane Palmer, and JP Rémy Ngono.
After the broadcast on July 24 and 25 of the interview that Captain Romuald Kenneth Effoudou gave to Fauteuil Tv in the Masterclass show, a cited and accused personality reacts. Sani Mouhamadou notes “accusations of exceptional seriousness made against him.” According to him, Captain Effoudou makes “totally false accusations” that seriously damage his honor, reputation, and the integrity of his professional career.

Sani Mouhamadou, in a statement, addresses the facts for which he is accused. According to Captain Effoudou, the latter was spotted near the Unity Palace carrying war weapons. Posing as a battalion chief, an army commander, he was in possession of “false documents.”
However, he was a French legionnaire with the rank of sergeant who had carried out missions worldwide, notably in Iraq and Afghanistan. After a report from Captain Effoudou to the President of the Republic, he was arrested and detained. Released at the request of the Minister of State, Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, the war weapons he possessed were seized, reports Captain Effoudou.
However, Sani Mouhamadou declares that he never clandestinely held war weapons. He highlights the contribution he has made to Cameroonian institutions since 2013. This includes participation in several meetings of the National Security Council, proposing international firms tasked with shedding light on the Eseka railway disaster, a mission he coordinated; providing his expertise to several state institutions including ministries, the Directorate General of External Research, and the Rapid Intervention Battalion.

Still according to him, the weapons he had were intended for his personal protection. These include a Glock 19 9mm caliber and a civilian-type LUVO AR-15 rifle chambered exclusively in 223 Remington caliber. “The photographs circulated on social networks deliberately create confusion. I consider that I was confronted with evidence manipulation in which another officer may have participated,” he denounces. The evidence shared on social networks is inaccurate and does not reflect the reality of the facts.
Having already been the subject of an administrative investigation ordered by the President of the Republic in 2020 for these accusations of possession of war weapons without any concrete evidence produced for his guilt, he left the matter without follow-up at the request. With new accusations, Sani Mouhamadou announces the upcoming filing of a public defamation complaint. The said complaint targets Captain Romuald Kenneth Effoudou, Morgan Palmer the interviewer. He will also sue JP Rémy Ngono for defamation and cyber harassment.
His claims before the courts are thus the condemnation of these three men, the removal of the content, and compensation for the damage. On August 6, Colonel Didier Badjeck of the second section also gave an interview to deny accusations from the same Captain Effoudou regarding an attempted rape.
