The Elite Football Championship will reach its third milestone starting February 4 and concluding on February 5, 2026.

The MTN Elite One championship continues with the programming of the third matchday, scheduled for February 4 and 5, 2026. After two matchdays already rich in lessons, Cameroonian clubs are preparing to engage in new battles, both for the conquest of the top spot and to revive their fortunes at the bottom of the standings.

Wednesday’s matchday promises to be particularly intense with six games spread across several stadiums in the country.
Starting at 3:00 PM, three matches will be played simultaneously. PWD of Bamenda will host Gazelle FA of Garoua at the Bamenda municipal stadium, in a fixture pitting two teams seeking confirmation. At the same time, Victoria United will face Coton Sport of Garoua at the Centenary Stadium, while Stade Renard of Melong will take on Aigle Royal of Moungo.
Starting at 3:30 PM, Panthère Sportive of Banganté will clash with AS Fortuna of Mfou at the Bandjoun stadium. In the same time slot, Aigle Royal de la Menoua, solid third in the standings, will attempt to continue its good momentum against Canon Sportif of Yaoundé at the Bamendzi stadium.
Wednesday’s matchday will conclude at 5:00 PM at the Yaoundé military stadium with the match between Colombe Sportive du Dja and Dynamo of Douala, the current league leader.



The third matchday will conclude on Thursday, February 5, at the Annex stadium of the Omnisport in Yaoundé. Fauve Azur Elite will face Unisport du Bafang there, two teams seeking precious points to improve their position in the standings.

After two matchdays played, Dynamo of Douala occupies the top of the standings with 6 points, tied with Gazelle FA of Garoua. The podium is completed by Aigle Royal de la Menoua, who has a total of 4 points.

At the bottom of the table, the situation remains concerning for AS Fortuna de Mfou (12th, 1 point), Unisport de Bafang (13th, 1 point), and Stade Renard de Melong, the bottom-placed team with 1 point as well.
