The former captain of the German national team and former CEO of FC Bayern Munich will open EXPSummit 2026 on October 1st and 2nd in Douala as part of his first keynote in Africa.
The second edition of EXPSummit will be held in the economic capital of Cameroon starting October 1st, 2026. Oliver Kahn will participate in experience and perspective exchanges as a keynote speaker. The former German captain will be alongside leaders, executives, and experts to discuss the theme: “Shaping the future through relevant innovations.” The work will revolve around three forums addressing three challenges.

The first, Leadership forum, will focus on leadership challenges, team cohesion, and human drivers of growth. Scheduled for the morning of October 1st, this forum aims to show how leadership, trust, and collaboration build high-performing teams. Speakers at this forum will be business leaders recognized for their ability to turn ambition into concrete results, lead their organizations through crises, and sustainably establish a true team spirit.
The second forum, the Expert forum, will be dedicated to multisectoral innovations and mobile solutions transforming business models. It will explore how mobile solutions are transforming finance, human resources, mobility, marketing, and entertainment. Scheduled for the afternoon of October 1st, it will bring together leaders and experts from finance, human resources, mobility, marketing, and entertainment sectors.
The third forum, Emerging Experts Forum, will focus on the new generation of talents, new content formats, and emerging expertise. Scheduled for October 2nd, it aims to strengthen credibility, develop visibility, and build lasting influence through strategic and quality content. It will be led by young executives, entrepreneurs, creators, and emerging professionals from content creation, creative professions, industry, and liberal professions.

Oliver Kahn, Keynote Speaker EXPSummit 2026
EXPSummit 2026 rolls out the red carpet for Oliver Kahn, an iconic figure in world football who successfully transitioned from high-level sport to corporate leadership. Former goalkeeper and captain of FC Bayern Munich and the German national team, he won eight German championships and six German Cups between 1988 and 2008. He is also a winner of the Champions League and the Intercontinental Cup in 2001. A finalist in the 2002 World Cup, he was the first goalkeeper to be named the best player of a World Cup.
Sports consultant and speaker, he shone through his analyses and participation in training programs at Harvard and Stanford between 2008 and 2020. From January 2020, he became a member of the FC Bayern board, then CEO of the same club. Oliver Kahn has been an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist since 2008. He invests in sports, media, and management in Europe. He will share his experience during the event.
