Guinness Super League: The kick-off of season 6 is getting closer

The press release from the Secretary General of the Women’s Football League defines the practical arrangements for the start of the season.

Season 6 of the Guinness Super League is now underway. In prelude to the official start of the championship, the Secretary General of the Women’s Football League of Cameroon has informed the participating clubs of the next major deadlines marking the launch of the new season.
In a note addressed to the teams, it is indicated that the official ceremony for the distribution of equipment to the clubs will take place on Wednesday, February 04, 2026, starting at 2 p.m., at the Technical Center of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) in Odza. This symbolic step marks the effective start of the competition and reflects the commitment of partners to the development of women’s football in Cameroon.
Furthermore, the program for the first day of the championship is now known.

The opening match will be played on Sunday, February 08, 2026, at the annex stadium of Omnisports, with a fixture scheduled for 3 p.m. between Lekié FC and Authentic FC.
In Douala, the annex stadium of Japoma will host two matches on the same day: at 1 p.m., Cyclone FC will face Vision FFA, before the clash between AS Dibamba and ITA Mbong at 3 p.m. In the North, the Cenajes stadium in Garoua will be the scene of the duel between Agai FA and Amazone FAP, scheduled for 2 p.m.
The first day will conclude on Monday, February 09, 2026, at the Fecafoot Technical Center in Odza, with Éclair SA facing Dja Sports at 1 p.m., followed by FC Ebolowa against Louves Minproff at 3 p.m.
