China firmly condemned the terrorist attacks in southwestern Pakistan and reiterated its firm support for Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts, said Lin Jian, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Tuesday.

According to reports, the Balochistan Liberation Army launched attacks in several areas of Balochistan province, causing casualties among security forces and civilians.
Speaking at the daily press briefing, Mr. Lin said that China firmly condemned these attacks. He expressed his deep condolences to the victims and his sincere sympathies to the injured and the victims’ families.

“China firmly opposes all forms of terrorism and, as always, will resolutely support Pakistan in its fight against terrorism, maintaining social unity and stability, and protecting the security of its people,” he stated.
