Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova issued a warning to the Baltic states following allegations of their intention to open their airspace to Ukrainian drones attacking Russia, the official Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported on Monday.

“Russia has issued a special warning to the Baltic states regarding their decision to open their airspace to the passage of Ukrainian drones during attacks against the Russian Federation,” she said.
If the Baltic states ignore Russia’s warning by implementing this measure, they will face retaliatory measures, the official emphasized.

On March 26, information was relayed via the Telegram channel Mash, showing the official opening of the airspace of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia to Ukrainian drones. However, these allegations were subsequently denied by the authorities of the parties concerned.
