A MINEPAT mission evaluates the progress of the port establishment’s structuring projects at the heart of the national industrialization strategy.

The Autonomous Port of Kribi (PAK) confirms its transformation trajectory with the visit of a MINEPAT evaluation mission, responsible for monitoring the P2ZI agreement. Welcomed by its general director, Patrice Melom, on April 17, 2026, the delegation reviewed the status of execution of the structuring projects that are reshaping the industrial-port zone.
At the heart of the discussions: the mobilization of public funding, its operational efficiency, and the levers to activate to support medium-term growth. This approach is part of a performance logic, where each investment must produce a tangible impact on the site’s competitiveness.
A key moment of the mission was the visit to the PAK electrical substation construction site. This strategic infrastructure aims to secure and strengthen the energy supply of the complex, an essential condition for the growth of industrial and logistical activities. It supports the rise of the Kribi industrial-port zone, destined to become a reference hub in Central Africa.
Through the P2ZI agreement, the State reaffirms its commitment to making PAK an engine of economic transformation, in line with the SND30 guidelines. The ambition is clear: structure infrastructure, connect value chains, and accelerate industrialization to sustainably support national growth.
